Our CEO
Jenny is a single mother of three looking to make her own place in the world of fashion. She began working early, laying a foundation for hard work, self-love and confidence that she passes onto all the girls that cross into her boutique.
her story
Believe it or not, Jenny's love for dresses began with cakes. Her first job was in a bakery where her favorite part of the process was the decorating.
However, as is often with creatives, her firsts job was far from decorating. She worked at Comcast in order raise her eldest, but Jenny had a passion even people at a call center could notice. So, through her hard work and the guidance of mentors at her side, she chose to take a risk and opened her first store in Florida.
Life, however, would have other plans. After a family emergency brought her (and her three daughters) Massachusetts, she was once again working under someone else. But with unyielding tenacity, she pushed and persevered. Until, now with help and support behind her, she was able to open her door once again to a need she saw. And she delivered.
Why gowns?
Aside from Jenny's own love for beautiful gowns, she also saw a need. Quinceanera and sweet sixteens are an important part of growing up in a Spanish community. For those throwing a party, a dress was often a beautiful but big expense. And for those unable to have a celebration, she often didn't get to make special memories of this pivotal moment. As such, Jenny created a place where these gowns could be rented, and spaces where these girls could still have the memories of a quince without throwing an expensive party. So why gowns, well because we wanted our girls to look and feel beautiful for their special day!
